Pilgrims of Hope

We believers are not without hope since Jesus lives and promises us new life. During this “Pilgrims of Hope” Jubilee Year, the Archdiocese of Los Angeles invites you to be renewed in hope.

First, the Archdiocese of Los Angeles will join local Churches around the world in 24 Hours for the Lord. A church in each of the 20 deaneries of the Archdiocese will remain open for 24 hours for confession and prayer from Friday morning, March 28 through Saturday morning March 29.

Holy Family, Artesia (7am mass until 7pm); St. Peter Chanel, Hawaiian Gardens (7pm to 7am)

Second, on Saturday, April 5, 2025, the Church will take to the streets of Los Angeles on a seven-mile Pilgrimage of Hope. The walk to the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels will begin at 8:00 a.m. at All Souls Church in Alhambra, with stops at Our Lady of Guadalupe, Rose Hill and Our Lady Help of Christians. Upon arrival at the cathedral, Archbishop Gomez will celebrate Mass; bus transportation from the cathedral to All Souls will be available at 1 p.m.. The relics of several saints, including the soon to be canonized Bl. Carlo Acutis, will accompany on us on our journey.
